Obv: Diademed head right in good style with crescent ear and angular nose, within a double beaded border. Rev: A feathered bird upon a cross with annulets each side, a trefoil of pellets below each limb, within a double beaded border.

Reference: S.802 (subtype), Sceatta List (Spink) page 107, similarity to type 85, apparently unlisted. No pellets before bird. A similar example PAS registered ID: CAM-D702B5.
A well struck example in a very good state of preservation and of good metal. The strong strike leaving the coin with superb appeal. A striking piece of Anglo-Saxon art.
