£300.00Price
A very rare example of a Royal Mint error Two Pence, 1979. struck in wrong metal with the wrong shaped planchet, cupro-nickel rather than the standard bronze as intended. The planchet slightly wedge shaped as illustrated in the images of the edge. Probably struck on a 10 Pence blank - or similar.
This unusual mix up at the Mint has caused an interesting collectors piece.
