    Obv: Portrait of the Duke of Cumberland right. Rev: A lion (England) subdues a wolf (Jacobites), IVSTITIA TRIVMPHANS (Justice Triumphant), in exerge the date MDCCXLV.


    This historic medal was struck in December 1745, in commemoration of the recapture of Carsilse and retreat of the Jacobite Rebels, after the Battle of Carlisle and the Jacobite rebels retreat to Scotland.
