Late Saxon / Early Medieval Hooked Tag Or Hanger, c.9th Century A.D. The copper-alloy hanger of shaped heart form, the flat plate with two attachment holes and decorations of stamped holes and an incised central area, probably once containing niello or enamel. The hook tapered and curved inwards. A light olive green patina. PAS Record ID: DOR-1EAA8B. 2.3g, 29mm long, 15mm wide.
