    Certainly one of the most impressive medals produced during the 19th century, not purely just because of size but also displaying a beautiful portrait of Queen Victoria.

     

    Obverse: Diademed head of Queen Victoria profile left with a list of the sixteen members of Russell's administration with their positions. Reverse: Fifty line inscription giving the list of members.

     

    Reference: BHM 2351.

     

    Provenance: Formerly on public display at Athelhampton House, Puddletown, Dorset. The Cooke family collection.
