Roman Bronze Zoomorphic Mount, c.3rd-5th Century A.D. The piece in the form or a ducks head in good style with open beak, decorated with detailing of feathers, eyes, and a ribbed beak, the neck terminating in an open wedge, the beak terminating in an open circular screw thread. 29.5g, 43mm long. Darker patination, some areas of light corrosion or pitting.
