    This important medal or pass was produced for the Gymnasium of Frederick Mohamed (born 1818), son of the famous Sake Dean Mohamed (“Dr Brighton”) who was famed amongst other things for introducing shampoo to the UK, also physician to King George IV who often visited Brighton and took use of Sake Dean Mohamed’s steaming treatments amongst others.
