In the New Testament the phrase “All flesh is grass” reoccurs in the first Epistle of Peter (1 Peter chapter 1 verse 24, “KJV: For all flesh is as grass, and all the glory of man as the flower of grass. The grass withereth, and the flower thereof falleth away”. It was a commonly used phrase, for example, often found displayed on old ledger stones and monuments in churches in 17th century England. The phrase is interpreted meaning that human life is transitory (impotent, perishing, limited).

A very wearable ring of a good diameter, in overall nice condition, some wear and light surface marks as expected with age.
