Discovered in June 1993, the Middleham Hoard is the largest hoard of coins buried during the Civil War to have been found. Uncovered were 5099 silver coins of Edward VI, Mary, Elizabeth I, James I, Charles I and others including Scottish and coins from the Netherlands.
 
The coin with a bright hoard surface and nice details throughout. The folder with some age wear and marks, the clear plastic coin holder with a tear.
