The word / emblem 'Five' engraved in the same font as found on a Bank Of England ‘white £5’ banknote.
 
An unusual and rare piece, its origin and history somewhat unknown. Research has found a very similar example having been sold at auction some years ago, however with no further attribution. An interesting study piece.
