Federal Malay States Volunteer Force. Bronze Malcolm Cup Award Medal, 1925. “D” Company No. XIII Platoon.
The FMSVF was a British military volunteer unit operating in Malaya and Singapore before World War II. Volunteers from the Federated Malay States were organized into four battalions. The force included units such as the Malay States Volunteer Rifles Regiment and the Johore Volunteer Engineers. These units were run by the British military for local defense purposes.
A nice example, with a darker and coloured tone when in the light. The box with some age wear.
