Roman Empire. Probus, 276-282 AD. AE Antoninianus, Silver Washed. Serdica, Thrace Mint.
Obv: Radiate, draped and cuirassed bust right. Rev: Probus, galloping right, spearing enemy whose shield lies beneath horse, KAA in exerge.
A well struck example, sharp detail throughout with much of the original silver wash present. A hairline split, probably from striking 3-4mm at 3-4 o’clock, however does not detract and is not noticeable unless under examination.
